Protect the beauty of art! Artglass has been created for the art. The perfect balance between transparency, purity and protection.
Transparency and purity make a decisive difference when regarding an artistic original or its reproduction.
Do not make any compromises when attaching importance to the authenticity of colours and the details of your estimable art objects and their frame elements which you certainly have carefully chosen.
Artglass:
- shows the real colours and structures of the artworks – no green cast or optical distortions
- reduces undesired reflections
- has a flat surface which ensures that details are shown unalteredly
Test Artglass for your framings:
- check the glass transparency in front of a white background
- glass a black showcase in order to assess the antireflexion coating
- check the flat surface of the glass by regarding the surface from different angles
Artglass is perfect on both sides:
- the coating of the brand “Artglass” is extremely resistant and scratch resistant
- it can be cleaned very easily – fingerprints are just wiped away, special glass cleaners are not necessary
- you do no longer have to worry which side of the glass must be cut or which side is to be placed as face in front of the art object
Just compare to other products:
- try to scratch the glass with a paper clip
- remove your fingerprints by means of breathing and whiping with a cloth
- check the symmetry – both sides should be identical with regard to notches and framings
Protection – but no overprotection!
Protection against dust, moisture, UV radiation and break. The best protection is reached in a dark, climate-controlled environment. If you want to exhibit your valuable art object, you should always ensure a balance between protection and visibility. A too big shielding of UV radiation flats the real colours and structures of your art object.
Which type of protection is suited for your art objects?
Level 1: The best and most effective protection is to place the art object far away from direct solar radiation. Museums and experts understanding how to regulate the location of art with regard to light sources mostly use an antireflective-glass on the basis of water white in order to reach the biggest transparency possible.
Level 2: Additional > 90 % UV protection where direct sunlight might hit the art object. You achieve the perfect balance between protection and transparency with Artglass UV and Artglass UV WW. Regard art as it is to be originally.
Level 3: Additional fracture resistance by using laminated glass in the case of the framed glass object being exposed to physical risks.
